Obtaining a PRCL Library Card:

Free library cards are available to residents of the following zip codes:

72751 - Pea Ridge
72732 - Gateway
72756 - Rogers
72712 - Bentonville
65745  - Seligman
65772 - Washburn
64856 - Pineville
72714 - Bella Vista

Persons not meeting this requirement will be asked to pay an annual $15 Non-Resident Fee. This fee will include all family members at the same residence.

To receive a Library Card You Need:

Official photo identification [i.e: driver's license, state issued ID card]
A recent piece of mail that was sent to the applicant at their current address[i.e. utility bill]
Completed and signed library card application
Minor applicants [5-17 years old] are required to have a parent/legal guardian's signature
You are responsible for all materials checked out to your card

Report the loss of your card immediately:

There is a $1.00 replacement cost for lost library cards.

Library Materials:

Patrons may have up to 6 items checked out at a time at the discretion of the librarian. Patrons with a library card of less than six months may only check out one book at a time until a history is established.

Check-out Period:

2 weeks. Popular books or books less than three (3) months old can be checked out for two (2) weeks - with no renewals for an additional two (2) weeks unless there is no waiting list.

Renewals:

All items may be renewed up to three times except for new releases. Please renew prior to due date to avoid overdue fees. Renewals may be made in person, by telephone or email. Renewals must be by 5:00 pm on the date the items are due.

Fees & Fines:

Overdue fees for all items are .20 cents per day per item and $1.00 per DVD per day. All fines & fees must be paid in-full when materials are returned to the library. No additional checkouts or use of library computers will be allowed until fines are paid in full.

Lost or Damaged:

Patrons are responsible for replacement costs, overdue fines, and a $5.00 processing fee for each lost item and for each item that is damaged so that it is no longer considered useable. The library will purchase the replacement item and the patron will reimburse the library.

Computers and the Internet:

The Library provides six public use computers with internet access for use by library patrons. Computer may be used for 1 hour. Additional use is permitted if no one is waiting to use computer. Reservations are not necessary but you may call the library at 479-451-8442 to reserve time if you wish. 

Printing and Photocopies:

Patrons may print from computers and the internet. Printing is .25 cents for black and white copy and .30 cents for color copy.

Meeting Room:

A small meeting room is available for meetings, tutoring, studying, etc
